Tucked away amongst the mandarin orchards, for which Bitez is renowned, little Olive Cottage provides a haven of peace and privacy. The cottage owners, Liz and her husband Ahmet live nearby, and as long time residents of Bitez, they are proud to own two of the few houses allowed on one of the last preserved areas of the Bodrum peninsula.
The cottage is simple in style and décor, and the lounge has two beds which double up as sofas depending upon the occupancy. The furnished stone terrace at the front of the cottage overlooking the fruit trees and splash pool is probably where you’ll spend most of your time when you’re not on the beach or out exploring.
There is a very local village house restaurant just six hundred metres from the cottage, comprising of just a few tables in the garden and simple Turkish home cooked food which guests seem to love, whilst Bitez seafront has a whole variety of restaurants to choose from.

This little cottage has very rural surrounds within the grounds of the owner’s house. It still has a level of privacy though as there are many trees and shrubs in and around the cottage, with a little rockery lined garden surrounding the little splash pool at the front of the house.
Inside it is quite simply furnished, but this helps to give it a more spacious feel. You will find the cottage has all you need for a self-catering holiday, and is within a short walk from Bitez with its shops and restaurants. An ideal base for those who want a holiday with a real Turkish feel!
