A charming character hotel in central Bodrum
Quoted in a recent Turkish Home and Art Magazine as “one of the best hidden gems of the Aegean with superb decoration throughout”, Su hotel is tucked away along a small lane and can be chanced upon by following a mosaic ‘river’ laid into the stonework from the road.
Once inside, it is an oasis of quiet and charm centred round the lovely pool and courtyards decorated with local crafts, fig and palm trees and vibrant bougainvillea.
One of the great advantages of staying at Su Hotel is that it is close enough to walk easily to the centre, marina and shops, just over four hundred metres away, and yet far enough to ensure your stay is quiet and uninterrupted.

Su hotel was brilliant! It’s a simple hotel in terms of facilities, but the style made me fall in love with it for the happy feel it gave off.
You are so close to Bodrum’s Marina, nightlife and shopping area that given this location you don’t need masses of facilities anyway. It felt fresh and bright and the colour used snazzes up’ what would ordinarily be a middle grade hotel.
It’s good condition and new breakfast terrace and bar just adds something more to the hotel and because of this and it’s atmosphere, I wouldn’t describe it as middle grade by any means.
